Cruising and Racing on the Salish Sea
Pender Islands Yacht Club is a diverse and interesting group of Sailors and Power Boaters who love adventuring in the beauty of the Salish Sea we get to call home. We help each other in skill development, maintenance and upgrades - and raise a glass now and then. We organize weekly sailboat racing September through June and monthly cruises throughout the Gulf Islands during the summer. Meet-ups and special events happen on the 3rd Monday of each month from October through April at the Bistro and Pub at Port Browning Marina. All are welcome. Annual membership is $75 per family. We also support Pender Island's popular summer Junior Sailing School.

Montague
Fiona
Close out the season without the crowds at Montague Harbour. Chef Doug and Fiona will be hosting this one. Probably some kind of magic cook out the first night - and the infamous musical bus ride to the Hummingbird pub for dinner the second night. And always the best tacos and margaritas at Crane & Robin in the marina for lunches. Mooring buoys and gov't. dock near the camp ground are on a first come basis this time of year so no reservations necessary unless you want to be in the marina.

Chemainus Theatre Cruise
John & Pat
John & Pat will welcome you to Thetis when you arrive on Tuesday, then have dinner in the pub there. Wednesday is lunch and then the play: 9 to 5 the Musical based on the seminal 1980 hit movie, at the Chemainus Theatre which starts at 2pm. If the group is 10 or more, there is a discount on lunch and tickets. $56 per person for the theatre or $100 per person for lunch and the theatre. All raving reviews about the buffet lunch. John can book you into the marina - just let him know how many nights you want to stay.

Saturna Winery Cruise
Roy Moore
The Bistro is open for breakfast from 8-11am - or bring your own, and then we cruise over, in whatever craft you desire, to the winery on Saturna for wine tasting and lunch - which is apparently wonderful. They have a 115 ft dock and 5 mooring buoys that they are willing to reserve for us. They also offered a discount per head on lunch if we reserve ahead of time. Roy is kindly organizing this part of the adventure. He will send out another email shortly for all who are interested to respond to.
